“An excellent two-player game”
“The perfect in-between game”
“Fun, quick to learn, easy to play, and it doesn’t drag out”
Dr. Matt Carlson, the GamerDad himself, calls Space Station Assault, “an excellent two-player game,” and concludes, “This is a pretty simple game, but is fast and fun to play. It is a space battle, but it is so abstract that it isn't a violence issue. Anyone comfortable with the card game War should probably be OK. Easily playable by kids as young as 9 or 10, its portability (a simple deck of 100 cards) is a great asset, but the need for a surface to play on eliminates it as a good during-travel game. With a little bit of space (in a hotel room, on a beach towel, or waiting for food to arrive) the game plays great.”
