2006 ORIGINS VANGUARD AWARD

Ground-Breaking, Portable Wargame Recognized for Innovative Design

COLUMBUS, Ohio – July 1, 2006 – The Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts and Design today announced Battlegound: Fantasy Warfare, created and distributed by Your Move Games, as a 32nd annual Origins Award winner in the Vanguard Unique Games category. The Origins Awards (www.originsgames.com/awards) recognizes the gaming industry's top games and accessory products and presents the awards each summer at the Origins International Game Expo in Columbus, Ohio.

“Academy members voted to select the Origin Award winners from an exceptional group of nominees this year,” said Peter Panzeri, Academy Chairman.

Battleground: Fantasy Warfare received the Vanguard Award due to its unique role in the wargames category. Nearly all such games involve the use of models, which in turn requires gamers to invest time and money in building an army, while reducing play time and portability. In contrast, Battleground: Fantasy Warfare provides the same level of enjoyment, strategy and interaction as tabletop miniatures while creating an easy entry for wargamers by means of a portable, card-based system -- replacing metal models with cards, each card representing a unit of troops.

Your Move Games will incorporate the Origins Award Winner icon into the packaging of its Battleground: Fantasy Warfare expansion decks, beginning with the Dwarves of Runegard which ships to retailers in August 2006. The Annual Origins Awards Presentation for the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts & Design recognizes the gaming industry's top achievements and products released during 2005. Battleground: Fantasy Warfare was launched in the summer of 2005.
