New Releases Include Science Fantasy Version of Award-Winning Wargame

BROOKLINE, Mass. – January 2, 2007 – Your Move Games today announced its 2007 new product release schedule. In addition to the launch of four new factions for its award-winning Battleground: Fantasy Warfare™ the game company plans to release two completely new versions of Battleground.

New releases for Battleground: Fantasy Warfare in 2007 include the already-announced Umenzi Tribesman faction, a terrain package and three additional Battleground factions: Lizardmen, High Elves, and Monsters, Mages and Mercenaries. 2007 will mark a significant growth in the Battleground game system as your Move Games adds two new versions of its strategy wargame: Science Fantasy and Historic Warfare.

“Battleground: Fantasy Warfare revolutionized tabletop wargaming and player response has been phenomenal,” said Your Move Games Founder and Co-CEO Robert Dougherty. “We always wanted to expand not only the range of factions available for Fantasy Warfare but also the types of Warfare players can choose for engagement. It’s very exciting to know that by the end of this year our fans will be able to choose from over a dozen different factions and can choose between fantasy, science fantasy or historic genres.”

Three factions and a terrain package will be available for Battleground’s science fantasy release. Your Move Games anticipates releasing “Battleground: Historic Warfare” with a classic struggle between Roman and Carthaginian factions. The 2007 release schedule follows:

Battleground: Fantasy Warfare

• February: Umenzi Tribesmen faction
• March: Terrain package
• April: Lizardmen faction
• Summer: High Elves faction
• Fall: Monsters, Mages and Mercenaries

Science Fantasy variant

• Summer/Fall: Initial launch with three factions and terrain package
• Winter: Fourth faction

Battleground: Historic Warfare

• November: Initial launch with Romans vs. Carthaginians

Battleground: Fantasy Warfare is a tabletop tactical wargame in which cards, rather than expensive miniatures, represent your units. Battleground is non-collectible - each faction comes in non-random Starter and Reinforcement decks. Starter decks include eighteen unit cards, that faction's thirty-card Command Deck, two reference cards and the basic rules. Each Starter deck includes a list of two 1500-point armies that can be built from the deck.
