Dark Elves...not a poll option!  They haven't gone to print yet...I'll add them when they do!  It definitely is taking a lot of self-control for me not to abuse my powers and add them now Just wanted that recognized. |

You see, that's not flavour, that's mechanics...
Now, the flavour of Alexander's Greeks (Macedonians?) is quite cool itself. An army that came from well, a quiet subarb of the Greek domain, that then went on to defeat the biggest Empire of its day and expand to be possibly the largest single nation the world had known by then? Definitely cool.

Alexander's Greeks, the price of the Umenzi with the punch of the Lizardmen! Huh, really? I'll be honest i don't have the cards in front of me, but the Macedonians aren't frankly that cheap. In fact, the pike infantry is probably the second most expensive infantry unit in the game. |

The Macedonians were a small, elite, highly trained and drilled force that relied on it's superb courage (they only retreated once against the indian elephants) and it's exceptional mobility before and in the battle. They also were one of the first armies to use combined arms (heavy and light inf combined with heavy and light cav). they were not cheap in BGFW standards, they were few and really really good. The Persians on the other hand...... (no more spoilers for the next factions  ) |

As a playtester and associate of Niko, I can confirm that asking for unreleased faction info may result in receipt of said info. Or, vague hints and mean spirited taunts. Definitely one or the other.  |
